Winchester 7: We started out with the intent of writing an acoustic blues tune. Then, I thought to add an electric accompaniment...and a bit of reverb. Next, Jack decided that it sounded too maudlin and decided to make us pick the beat up a little.

Before we knew it...we'd gone a touch emo. Hell, there's many a band that we are fans of who've made careers of it.

We're proud of the effort and appreciate the assistance of our mix engineer, Brendan Woodroff, towards realizing a richer sound than what the rough mix first presented.

Finally, regarding the video, the outdoor footage was shot in Great Smoky Mountain National Park around the time that we were writing Unplug My Mind. With some dramatic lighting effects added, we were glad to see it re-purposed for If Ever You Should Fall.
